What Do You Think of When…
Posted September 11, 2012 | Laura Christianson
A client and I are fleshing out a new brand and we’d love your input.
When you hear the phrase, Grateful Table, what thoughts, images, and/or colors immediately come to mind?
Please post a comment or email your impressions to [email protected]. Thanks!
Unedited response – as soon as I read the question:
FIRST impression is Grateful Dead, followed by rock band dinner setting. OK – sort of a weird image!
Second impression is more Normal Rockwell Thanksgiving dinner setting.
First color: black
Second color: orange (from the Thanksgiving image)
Good luck!
Families, Thanksgiving, browns, big dinner are my first thoughts for the phrase. Knowing it is for a brand, I also quickly thought of cookbooks and building a happy, spiritually healthy home.

Hi all,
Your comments are so helpful. I purposely did not provide you with context, because I didn’t want to bias you in any way. Keep the thoughts coming. I’ll provide more details about the project once we work through some branding exercises — your input is invaluable. Thanks! Laura
