“I am just starting out and have no experience with creating a presence online. The whole logo and website design experience was very positive and the results surpassed my expectations.”
When Lisa Baldwin was preparing to publish her memoir, she asked the Blogging Bistro team to design an inspirational logo that she could use in a variety of ways, and an easy-to-navigate two-page website.
The icon in her logo depicts Lisa’s “Life Stories” theme, in which she encourages readers to explore their own stories of discovery and healing. Lisa can pull apart the elements in her logo design and use them in various ways: icon only, icon plus her name, her name and tagline only.
I am delighted with the results of my logo. I am so grateful for the knowledge and skills of Laura and her team to bring to life my vision for my logo.
The Blogging Bistro team has partnered with best-selling author, Tessa Afshar, for years. When she asked us to refresh the design of her custom WordPress website, we started by updating her logo.
Her simple, straighforward logo mirrors the typography on several of her book covers, which creates a cohesive visual brand.
We delivered her logo in a variety of colors so Tessa has options for varying the look for social media posts, letterhead, and book launch swag.
When Karisa Moore wanted to develop a professional and functional author website, she asked the Blogging Bistro team to design a new logo and a soothing, inviting website that serves as a creative writing outlet to help people grieve with hope.

We have been assisting Angela Welsh with her branding needs since 2014. When she opened a new salon in late 2020, we designed an elegant logo that incorporated some of her favorite elements from her previous brand.
In addition to designing rectangular and circular versions of this logo, we also created business cards, appointment cards, an A-frame sign and a large pedestal sign for her storefront.
When Tracie Heskett asked us to design her logo, we started by creating three distinct design “looks” — classic, hybrid, and whimsical. Tracie opted for the classic design. She requested a few tweaks to the font and color palette, and this is the result.

I can’t thank Laura and her team enough and will remain forever grateful.
When Jean Stephenson, an author living “across the pond” in Cambridge, England, decided to revamp her brand, she asked us to keep the whimsical feel she loved from her previous brand, and to give it a fresh, contemporary spin. We also created her custom, mobile-friendly WordPress website.

Author Sarah Sundin’s logo was one of the most challenging we’ve designed, as it needed to accurately reflect the “generic” serviceman who would have been in the armed forces during the WW II era.
We carefully planned (and tweaked… and tweaked some more) his uniform, his cap, and his facial expression. The result: a handsome serviceman looking hopefully into the distance.
We also designed Sarah’s custom responsive WordPress website.
When Mountain River Youth Ranch commissioned us to redesign their logo and website, we started by creating a “pull-apart” logo. This type of design allows Mountain River Youth Ranch to “pull apart” various elements of their logo for specific uses, such as on t-shirts, mugs, signage, web-based marketing collateral, letterhead, etc.
“I am grateful we choose the Blogging Bistro team to do our logo and website. Laura Christianson’s continual support makes me feel like she is family in that she is dependable, does excellent work, has our best interest at heart and is just a phone, text, or email away.”
