Do you slave to craft the perfect intro to your blog post or podcast episode?

Good news: You probably don’t need to spend much time on intros.

Blog readers have a different mentality than book readers. They’re not settling into their cushy recliner to enjoy an hour or two inhaling your words. They want a quick fix. They’ll skim your post, looking for something that’ll help, equip, inspire, or entertain.

Podcast listeners and video viewers are often on the go, listening somewhat distractedly while exercising, cooking a meal, or driving.

Email subscribers will give you about three paragraphs of their time. Too many words, and they click “Delete.”
