Linkbaiting: the practice of generating incoming links to your Website or blog from other sites. In common English, you “bait” or entice someone to link to your site by posting any of the following:

• quality content
• breaking news
• hosting contests or giveaways
• polls or surveys
• top 10 lists that people want to share with other
• creating something useful (like a snazzy WordPress theme) that everybody wants to have
• …you get the idea

In her Publicity Tip of the Week newsletter, Joan Stewart alerted her readers to Linkbait Generator, a free online tool that generates catchy blog post titles based on the subject your enter.
Of course, I had to try it.

I tried several different subjects. First: business blogging. Here are some of the results:
